Dive Safaris is a PADI Resort Facility. We have 2 locations on the Dutch Side of St. Maarten. Our newest center at Palapa Marina in Simpson Bay is at the center of St. Maarten’s major hotels and timeshare resorts and boasts a retail store stocking everything you could want for snorkeling, scuba diving and the beach at Duty Free prices. Our center in Bobby's Marina is just minutes from the Mid Town Pier in Philipsburg where the cruise ships tender.

DIVE TRIPS - Our spacious custom fit boats have shade and dry storage. Open transom with dive platform and heavy duty aluminum ladder make entries and exits safe on the boat. We use a ratio of 6 divers per dive leader; in addition, we keep one crew on the boat for surface support.  On board, we supply sodas, water, and snacks.

LEARN TO DIVE - Never been under water before? No problem! It takes just an afternoon to get you scuba diving. We also affer PADI Open Water  through Dive Master Certifications.

DIVE SITES - There are a wide variety of dive sites to enjoy. Beautiful reefs with drop offs, swim throughs, and even caves. Wrecks are plentiful and most are in 40 - 60 ft of water. One wreck from 1801 has coral encrusted cannons and anchors. Aquatic life is abundant on all our dives. Sightings of stingrays, turtles, and sharks are common.

SHARK DIVES - The word SHARK stirs up the most primal fear in people. Follow this link for photos and information which will change your mind.

SCHEDULE - Our schedule varies with our seasons. We offer single, double tank, and night dives. We dive in small groups led by friendly, well trained Instructors or Divemasters.

TRAVEL PACKAGES - We can arrange your accommodations with your dive package.  Very reasonable rates at a nice hotel on the beach.

If you are on a boat, you may want to hire a professional to come onboard to teach you, handle gear, and so on.  This service must be arranged in advance.  Per day or per charter.
